[PKSE_BACSU] Probably involved in some intermediate steps for the synthesis of the antibiotic polyketide bacillaene which is involved in secondary metabolism. Probably has an acyl transferase activity and could also have a flavin mononucleotide-dependent oxidoreductase activity.[1]
