Fatty acid synthase
From Proteopedia
Fatty acid synthase (FAS) catalizes the synthesis of palmitate from acetyl CoA and malonyl CoA into long chain fatty acid. FAS is a multi-domain enzyme. It contains an acyl carrier protein domain (ACP).
