I am a former high school science teacher currently serving as Learning Designer and Academic Technologist at an independent school in Potomac, Maryland. From 2004 to 2010, as a teacher at The Pingry School, I was involved with Tim Herman's S.M.A.R.T. Team project at the Center for Biomolecular Modeling. My teams have created a number of JMol tutorials; the 2010 team created their tutorial on Proteopedia.

I received my BA in biology/secondary education from Washington University and a MA in biotechnology from Columbia University.
